I have been involved in costume and fashion for over ten years, I started by writing articles about fashion for bngr.cz and czechmag.cz during my studies at Gymnasium I wrote a little over a hundred of them. I then went on to study Marketing Communication and PR at Charles University and Production at FAMU, both of which I successfully completed with a Bachelor's degree.
At FAMU I discovered my love for film and the magic of costume design. In my second year, the decision was made to quit production and fully dedicate myself to building a career as a costume designer. I began learning to sew with professionals, put in dozens of hours assisting on various smaller projects, and built my own costume storage with around 1000 pieces. In my work I put a lot of emphasis on sustainability, I have a network of stores (Nila, Converse, Furtex,...) where I lend and a large costume storage with hundreds of pieces. By practicing these ways I try to reduce textile waste to a minimum and give the productions the perfect styling with a sustainable label.
I founded the fashion brand UltraVagant in 2021, which now has thousands of followers and continues to grow. Here I mainly take care of creating new collections and marketing. We focus on eco-friendly upcycled collections and try to spread awareness about the impact of the fashion industry on the planet. We have shown new collections at the National Museum, the historic Main Station building and under the Letna Metronome, for example. (Brand Instagram)
